How are these posts any different from the spam posts? It's blatant advertising, and probably malicious.

The first post simply says 'posts about homework'. I would interpret that as posts asking for help with homework. Does it mean 'posts that offer commercial sites for homework help'?

Not sure what you mean by ‘the first post’. The user's first post? There was a link in the post to a commercial tutoring site, but I think greg1313 removed it.

It's best to ignore spam. A few searches of the web find out what was going on. Also, the suggestion had nothing to do with mathematics events.
