If region D is a parallelogram then the area is 3840. However that is not given and the picture seems to imply that region C is an equilateral triangle.

If C is an equilateral triangle then D cannot be a parallelogram.

You need to provide some additional information. Either say that D is a parallelogram or C is equilateral.

D is certainly not a parallelogram. C looks like an isosceles triangle, equilateral is not needed.

I agree with everything mathman said. However the OP never said the triangle was isosceles so as stated, the problem cannot be solved.
