I have an equation,

\(\displaystyle (z-i)(z+i)/5 = 5 \)

and I am required to find and plot the cartesian equations of the loci of z. Please help.

the solution to this is just

$z = \pm 2\sqrt{6}$

2 real points. Are you sure you've got the problem typed in correctly?

I have simplified it slightly. The original was:

\(\displaystyle (z-i)(z-i)*/mod(3-4i)=5\)

I have found my problem. Thank you.
