Heat content is ...Joules? enthalpy? or internal energy??

- Joules is just the unit of energy.
- Enthalpy is the potential heat energy that can be released/gained from/by a system and is equal to pressure multiplied by change in volume in most cases.
- Internal energy is a parameter of a closed system that represents the total energy store in the system.

So... I would go with internal energy.
