After writing an equation for the scaled ellipse (using Cartesian coordinates), consider the "top right" vertex of the scaled rectangle.

Hi All,

To better describe the problem I have uploaded here:

Feel free to ask any questions.

Any help is appreciated!
You know, several Fora and counting and I still don't have a clue if you are trying to solve the problem or issuing some kind of challenge? If it's a challenge question then why did you post it in the ridiculously inappropriate "Elementary Math" Forum? This isn't a really tough problem (persistence and writing out each step is all it really requires) but I don't think that simple multiplication problems or knowing PEDMAS is going to do much here.

So do we solve it on our own or do we help you solve it?
