I'm learning logarithms and i have a problem with this:

500 X e -2.5

I know that the solution is 41.04

But how to do that?

You have to know that \(\displaystyle e \approx 2.71828\). Then plug \(\displaystyle 500 ~ e^{-2.5}\) into the calculator.

If you are using a scientific calculator you can plug in 500 (times) exp (-2.5)

Addendum: Maschke for psychic of the year for figuring out the formula the OP meant by that.

Welcome to the club! We're more or less insane, but very nice, people. :wavespin:
